Commercial Description:
This Belgian style Strong Dark Ale has a tawny brown color and aromas of banana and spice that dominate the initial bouquet of the beer. Lean malt flavors blend perfectly with fruit driven characteristics created by the classic Belgian yeast which fermented this ale. The alcohol content is deceptively smooth just like its sister beer Damnation. Brewed just once a year for a release in January.

tap at RR. Pours with a drak brown color. Aromas of bread, and dark fruit. Flavors of malts, caramel and a distinct doughy component. Very much like a Belgian bruin, with nice carbonation and body.

Pours a caramel brown, with a light fizzy white head. Smells of some sweet fruit, apple comes to mind, with a sweet malty background. Taste has some sour apple and sweet darker malts which seem to coincide well together. Quite flavorful and easy to drink for 9%. very smooth. Nice mellow sourness to it, just enough to give it a little bite. Another solid brew from RR.

Ruby-brown with a light tan head. Sweet yeast, tobacco and banana aromas play around in the glass. Taste of apricot, mild spice, clove, very smooth. Thick palate. Lots of subtle nuances make this one unique. Very nice.
