Received as a one hell of a bounus from dirtymartini, thanks again man! Hazy reddish-brown pour with a light tan head. Awesome aroma of sour and oak...sour cherries and light caramel malt. The flavor held more sourness, bret, tart cherry, some tannins. Sour throughout the medium body with a nice lively carbonation with a sour/woody/dry finish. Sours, especially RR brews continue to allure me, and this one was especially good. MY favorite sour ale, hands down.

5L (i think??) bottle poured by Vinnie at NHC pro brewer night. Poured a deep yellow color. Nose is a fruity sourness, some wood, and a ton of cherries. Flavor is sour cherry, some wine, acidic vinegary notes. Nicely carbonated, dry and sour! Beauty!

Bottle via Lothore. Cloudy amber color. Smell of candy, lemons, tart cherries, oak, spice and minor sharp cheddar cheese. Just smelling this makes my mouth salivate. Taste of sour cherries, wood, oak, nutty, lemons and cedar wood. Excellent! Must have more!

375ml bottle from WeeheavySD. Pours brown with orange and gold edges with white head. Aroma is sour as hell with wood, cherries, and some funk. Flavor is tart with some sour cherries, funk, and some wood. This has a lip smacking tartness to it. Really good stuff. I can’t stop licking my lips. Good beer to celebrate my 30th birthday.

Batch 002 bottle gracefully shared by Crosling. This beer was even better than I expected. Poured a nice golden-caramel color with a thin tan head that diminished. Rising bubbles and some suspended yeast. Tart, cherry-apple aroma with undertones of oak. Wonderfully complex flavor. Sweet, smooth entry leads into a tart, semi-funky cherry and sweet apple. Oak and yeast flavors become apparent on the finish that continues changing even minutes after you swallow. Drying and semi-puckering. Spectacular, thanks again Nick.

Wow I was so glad to find some of this on the table. Aroma of cherries, sourness, and a real rich malty sweetness . Real balanced between malty and sourness. Probably one of my favorites flemish sours out there.

Ruby cedar hue with lingering patchy clouds. Aged syrupy vintage vinegar mixed with oak shavings and barren grapevine..and thats just the aroma. Tangy puckering crabapple and cherries, completed with walnuts. Dry finish that echoes the sweetness.
