Aroma is earthy, with some vinegar and surely the cherries. The Pinot Noir came out in the flavor, and really enhanced the raisin and prune aspects of the brown ale. The pour was a boring, flat orange, and the palate was a bit sharp, yet crisp and tingly. Where it counts (aroma and flavor) this is a winner. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA

Brown coloured beer with a foamy off white head. Aroma has some of those sour cherries in it. Great flavour with lots of tart brett, some sweet and sour from the cherries, and some wine like hints (though I could be imagining it). Odeed (1679), Bakersfield, California, USA

The flavor is similar to gueuze, but the subtle cherry notes make it a bit like a kriek or a sour brown ale. Overall very tasty and quite unique. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Sour fore transitions into a smooth wet fruity middle that finishes with a dry wine tartness. Extremely well pulled together. One of those beers I think I’d have to drink a lot to really pen down. Big thanks to kmweaver for the bottle. Slightly hazy orange, translucent white head. Dry wine grapes, apples growing dark and wrinkled on the tree, mind rose petals, old barn boards. Lovely fruit sourness, grapeskin, pepper and wool. Well-balanced and refreshing. Kept wishing for more cherry contribution, but still really enjoyed this.
