May 22, 2007 Pours a opaque yellow with a fizzy white head. Has hints of sour fruits, spices, and wood. Has a grape juice texture on the tongue. Finishes with a dry tart feeling.

May 21, 2007 Pours a golden color with a small quick dissipating head.Aroma is sour.this was full flavored with lots of sour cherries, almost wine like.The sourness kind of mellowed out at the end.

Batch 1. Been looking forward to trying a Russian River brew for a very long time. Pours a cloudy golden body with an off white head. Medium retention and nice lacing. Aromas of yeast, sour cherries and raisins, oak, acidic notes, and some funkiness. Flavor is all of the above, blended together nicely. Palate is dry, with medium carbonation. Finish is sour and dry, but not overpowering. Great brew.

May 1, 2007 Updated: Jul 9, 2007Part 2 of my side by side with Supplication. The Temptation was more complex, starts slightly sour grapes and then oak. Nice finish not as sour a Supplication.

Apr 30, 2007 Aroma was a nice sourness with some slight oak and citrus as well.Pours a medium copper with a medium off white head.A very smooth sourness with some noticable oak in the flavor.Medium mouthfeel with a sour finish.

Apr 30, 2007 This was Batch 2 and when the cork came out with a satisfying pop a cloud of steam rose from the bottle, followed about five seconds later by a pillar of foam. Split with my brother into two Duvel glasses, this poured a rich cloudy golden color that was unique in its creamyness. Nose is quite sour, but full of very complex aromas, that seems like apple, pear, grapes, apricot, and citrus. Mouthfeel very rich and smooth, and your tastebuds just dance. Flavors are much like the nose, and is more citrus than the aroma, and the finish is wonderfully sour. Almost as good as Duvel, there is nothing quite like this and you simply have to love what this brewer can do.

Apr 24, 2007 bottle-wow, what a treat here! cloudy yellow with a small fizzy head. almost looks like a wit. wonderful nose-full of brett funk, estery goodness-lite lemon, wild funk, grapes, its all over the place wonderful! delightlfully sour flavors -grapes, lemongrass, funk, woody dryness on the finish. body is lite with crispness. truely a unique and brew that is in a class of its own. definately seek this one out!

Apr 19, 2007 375ml - Batch 002 - #700 - Aroma of oak, brett, white grape and bready yeast. Pours cloudy gold with a medium creamy head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma with some grassiness and lemon peel. Palate is sour and sticky. Another very tasty RR brew I could drink all the time if available.
