Maybe more generic green wood than oak. Beyond that, though I enjoyed its sourness. GG (1633), NorCal, California, USA

A fantastic trip for your tastebuds to enjoy as this beer covers a lot of flavors most Belgian Strong’s don’t. The aroma is oaky, fruity with a strong emphasis on tart cherriess, bretty, and lightly acidic. Flavors are nearly on par with the nose, but adds some caramel sweetness up front like some kind of cherry/caramel dessert. It also has a subtle wine character to the whole beer, but maybe that’s the brett and oak coming together. Excellent beer! oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland

Cloudy amber, small creamy head.Woody nose with citric tartness and licorice. Despite it’s 10% it feels light and arousing, spreadign a sweet and sour sensation. Caramelly and fruity with vinous notes, as well as some barnyard character. Complex to the border of confusion. Even if I don’t really understand what I am drinking I know that I’d love to have some more. jcwattsrugger (5308), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Slightly sour aroma accompanied by light stone fruit. Nice amber color with a flat beige head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavors of roasted malt, oak and cherries. Lightly tart/sour. Finish is the same, but mellower. A very nice sour ale. Doubt the Belgians can do better. jessbnjess (15), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
