On tap at O’Brien’s Pub 14th Anniversary Barrel-Aged beer night 1/15. A- Pours a red orange hue, thin off-white head dissipates, moderate lacing S- Tart fruits, hints of cherries, wild yeast, grass/earth tones, a range of other fruits and wood T- Initial taste is full of sour and tart fruits, followed by grass, oak, and wild yeast funk, finishes dry and sour M- Medium-bodied, smooth watery texture, high carbonation D- This is a very tart wild ale with great balance and flavor, easily my favorite BA beer of the night, I could drink this all night long and would love to get some more in trade. . .

Bottle. Big thanks to golubj. Poured a nice looking brownish amber, and it was quite murky. Off white head. Aroma of fruit, cherry, wood, sourness, must and light funk. Very nice. Flavor had a plethora of blended flavors. Fruit, cherries, wine predominate; with some wood, earth and funk. Very tart.

Taster – 2008 Great Salt Lake Festivus – Beer Session – Was not sure what I was tasting with all the flavors from this beer. Oak, fruit, and even some good Belgian yeast this beer had it all. Sour, and fantastic. A terrific beer for Toronado and Russian River. A must try if ever you get the chance.

750 ml bottle via trade with Irishboy some time ago - I actually drank this beer back in May. Now Im adding some old ratings. Pours a hazy deep amber color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is cherry esters and light oak. Flavor is tart esters and light oak. Palate is tart and the esters linger a bit. Medium body. Im not a big Sour ale fan, but this was nice. Thanks Richard.

Bottle thanks to Eric, drank at his Christmas party. Pours a very cloudy apricot color with a thick bubbly white head. The aroma is sour, woody, and vinous. The flavor is very, very complex, yeast, tart citrus, a dry fizzy mouthfeel, lightly sour. Very vinous and tasty, the sweetness from the dark ale stands out also. The funky Brett and wine barrel mix together in harmony. Excellent.

Pours a very nice light brown color, nice carbonation, nice little creamy off-white head, with some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, sour. The taste is also malty/yeasty, sour. Medium body. Very drinkable, this is an awesome brew, very tasty.

2008-10-22. Lightly hazy dark amber body with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is lovely, fruit, light but persistent funk, lemon/pineapple melange. Modest sourness throughout, fruit, tart sour versions of the fruit in the aroma. Refreshing, pleasant nuance. Rather good. Pretty awesome, very balanced, just very drinkable.
