Oak, fruit, and even some good Belgian yeast this beer had it all. Sour, and fantastic. A terrific beer for Toronado and Russian River. A must try if ever you get the chance. cbkschubert (1968), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Now Im adding some old ratings. Pours a hazy deep amber color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is cherry esters and light oak. Flavor is tart esters and light oak. Palate is tart and the esters linger a bit. Medium body. Im not a big Sour ale fan, but this was nice. Thanks Richard. douglas88 (1592), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bottle thanks to Eric, drank at his Christmas party. Pours a very cloudy apricot color with a thick bubbly white head. The aroma is sour, woody, and vinous. The flavor is very, very complex, yeast, tart citrus, a dry fizzy mouthfeel, lightly sour. Very vinous and tasty, the sweetness from the dark ale stands out also. The funky Brett and wine barrel mix together in harmony. Excellent. Wasatch (270), Layton, Utah, USA

Aroma is lovely, fruit, light but persistent funk, lemon/pineapple melange. Modest sourness throughout, fruit, tart sour versions of the fruit in the aroma. Refreshing, pleasant nuance. Rather good. Pretty awesome, very balanced, just very drinkable. Bottle shared by HogTownHarry
