GABF 2007. A pale orange beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of wood and brettanomyces. The flavor is acidic with wonderful notes of fruit, as well as notes of wood and brettanomyces. The acidity draw out the mouthwater.

Bottled, thanks cquiroga! Cloudy amber, small creamy head.Woody nose with citric tartness and licorice. Despite it’s 10% it feels light and arousing, spreadign a sweet and sour sensation. Caramelly and fruity with vinous notes, as well as some barnyard character. Complex to the border of confusion. Even if I don’t really understand what I am drinking I know that I’d love to have some more.

Again another fantastic beer I got to sample at the Grand tasting thanks to who ever pulled this one out. Pours slight hazy to cloudy deep orange to amber with a small lacing head. Aroma is smooth fruity and tart acidic. Oaked flavour with a wine notes and the classic Russian River tartness. Mix of fruits, barrel and acidic/citric flavours into the finish.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sour berries and acidic wood, some mild notes of cherries. Flavour is also very sour and acidic fruits and berries along with some earth and yeast. Very nice brew.

Murky reddish-brown colour. Woody, cherryish, rodenbachy aroma. Spritzy carbonation and quite sour, but with a warming malt character underneath. Definitely with the rodenbachish accents and more sour than most American sours. Big wood character and a warming splash of alcohol late. This I need to see again.

Bottle shared by cgarvieuk at Borefts BF 09. Thanks Craig. Love the fruity sour aroma. Some cognac-y sweetness in middle, bit of caramel. Really good fruit/cognac/sour. Lovely balance, so good.
