Bottle brown, 500 m,on tap in Rybnikl, 12.1 P
Appearance: Pours deep golden, clear and shiny body, strong and intensive carbonation, with a long duration, head is initially rather small and quite quickly decreasing to a thin froth, deep and regular in structure, very nice body colour, practically like of a Bohemian Pilsener.
Aroma: Hoppy, aromatic, flowery, blackcurrant, some notes of honey (a natural one), some notes of nuts, milk, raisins, very faint, grainy aroma, carbonation in nose, hops reminding Lublin ones in its aroma. Generally very positive aroma, chalky.
Flavour: Chalky, blackberries, nice bitterness on palate, alcohol is also felt, grainy and malty character in its background, refreshing and quite strong on the other hand. I have never tasted such a cheap beer of that quality. Very interesting and is seems medium bodied. Finish duration is average.
Palate: Palate is positive. Body is light to medium, texture is dry, carbonation is lively on palate making the beer fresh, a bit citrusy, lively and interesting. Finish feel is lightly alcoholic, grainy, chalky.
FrankJohansen (2631), Sabro, Denmark Dec 31, 2007 Can. Pale golden colour with a huge moslty lasting white head. Rich malty aroma and taste. Not much hops in this one. Watery. Radek Kliber (3309), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 17, 2006 Gold lager with decent color and even better white , large crown . Refreshing aroma of sweet pale malt and aromatic lublin hops . For 12-stka felt a bit light . more hop accented than malt . Aroma promised better beer than it was . D (465), Kraków, Poland Nov 7, 2005 Yellowish colour, thick head. Corn aroma and a pretty good malty taste. Reminds me of Fosters, but is way cheaper of course and maybe even better. Nice
