gunnfryd (2683), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is rubbery, alcohol, rum, malt. Flavour is alcohol, malt, hop, fruit. Medium body. Too much alccohol domination. yngwie (3385), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 23, 2008 Bottle. The beer pours a clear golden body under a small, creamy head of off-white to beige color. Rubbery, sulfury notes gives the aroma an unpleasant twist, but there’s also alcohol, rum maybe, and after a while, chocolate and toffee appears. The flavor is malty and toffee-ish with some fruity notes. Not much bitterness. Medium body and very low on carbonation. A really boring beer, but not much wrong with it except for the initial aromas. (080620) Maria (3905), Thisted, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 Thanks Yespr. Hazy, red-orange with an OK, but rapidly vanishing head. The aroma has notes of caramel, orange peel and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, crystallized orange peel, fruit, light alcohol and it ends slightly dry with a hint of spicy grapefruit.
