Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Hazy dark brown body. Smoky fruity aroma. Same with the flavor. The smoky impressions are however mild and non-offensive. Mild and nice low carbonation and a pleasant long smoke aftertaste.

Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with a small white head. Smoky and sweet aroma. Flavour is malty, bitter and smoky. Smokiness is not too overwhelming. Medium bodied and pleasant mouthfeel. Very drinkable beer.

Aug 13, 2008 0.5 l bottle at SOPP 2008, Helsinki. Amber color with small head. Sweetish, smoky, earthy, peaty and heathery aroma. Malty, caramelly, toffeish, fruity and smoky flavor. For some reason I get peaty notes, allthough according to the brewery web-site they are using german rauchmalz.

Jul 31, 2008 (Bottle at SOPP2008) Amber and hazy. Medium-sized dense white head. Smoky sweet nose. Slightly watery palate with little carbonation. Smoke, Finnish Easter pudding, malts, bitterness and fruitiness in taste. Slightly bitter and sweet aftertaste.
