Black with a lasting light brown head. Caramel, malt, grain and some smoke in the aroma, which doesn’t quite prepare for the wonderful flavour explosion to come. Dry and roast with smoke, tar and licorice. Burnt finish.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Black of color with a dark brown of color. An aroma with notes of roasted malt, coffe, liqurice and hints of dark fruits and sweets. A roasted flavor with notes of coffee, old liqurice, sweets and dark chocolate.

Jul 13, 2008 Tap at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours a beutyful black with a brownish small head. Aroma of creamy chocolate and roasted malt. Flavour of creamy chocolate, roasted malt vinious and a bit smoked.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle. A black beer with a small to medium tan head diminishing rather quickly. Chocolate, sweetness, some coffee and hints of licorice and cigar in the aroma. A touch of cooked vegetables too. Some smoke, roasted malt, chocolate, tobacco and a decent bitterness in the flavor. Medium to full body. Nice beer with a slightly strange aroma. Flavor is nice. Jun 30, 2008 Tap @ Aarhus Beerfestival 2008. Aroma has roast, coffee. Black coloured with an off-white head. Taste has a good balance between bitterness and sweetness. it has roast, malt and coffee. Good beer.
