| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 28, 2005 Slightly hazy light amber. smallish white head. Grainy malt nose, minimal toastiness, mostly apple flavors. Faint earthy hops procure an easy drinking floral dryness that pairs along decently with the very grainy malt backbone. Moderate carbonation, light bodied. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 14, 2006 Bottle (12oz). As War of 1812 Ale Amber. Slightly cloudy reddish amber, golden on the bottom, average diminishing white head. Almost non-existent dry straw and light orange juice aroma - noseful of nothing, really. Taste is sweet, grainy, a little dry - just not much there, it goes down easy but has no character. Mouthfeel is quite watery, fairly flat - forgettable. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 24, 2002 Light yellow body, with a little head that dissipated rapidly. Aroma was fresh, but not too distinct of grassy/hops. There was little taste to this beer. Light body, some grassy notes mainly, slight tinge of sweetness on the palate with a hint of hops at the finish. Nothin special here. Dickinsonbeer (3563), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Pours a mostly clear light copper with a thin white head. Aroma is toasty, light diacetyl, and some caramel. Even more bland flavor with some toast, nuts, caramel and hints of hops. Relatively clean but finishes pretty bland and abrupt. Meh.
