Rich floral aroma. Beige head. Amber coloured rich on the palate and fruity with a nutty malt finish. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Mar 5, 2009 Draft. Rich amber beer with a light tan head. Light malt aroma. Light citrus, light malt, light caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Balanced beer. Caramel lingers with light citrusy hops. Gypsy19 (603), California, USA Dec 11, 2008 A malty brew with caramel notes yet sweetness withheld. Kind of flat on the carbonation. This tastes a little stronger than the purported 5.4% at the brewery and in a beneficial way. Just decent overall. Oscbert (531), Sacramento, California, USA Dec 5, 2008 ~Pours a dark reddish brown color with thin white head.
~Nice biscuit malt scent, normally dont care for this scent in beers, but this one is nice.
~Biscuit malt taste, light hops, nice balance.
~Medium feel, good finish.
~This is a good amber. I really like the ambers from this brewery.
ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 15, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark reddish body with a thin, wispy, off-white head.
Smell: Weak nose smelling of hints of fruit, caramel malt, and a pinch of grains.
Taste: Slight caramel malts though very little sweetness. Faintest hint of grain. No more than a touch of bitterness. Dry, yawn-inducing finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. A bit watery, I must say.
Drinkability: Rather uninteresting and an average amber, at best.
