Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is surprisingly light - of grass and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of grapefruit, malt, hops, as well as a touch of butter(?), leading to a bitter finish.

On tap. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Fat, juicy but also raw hoppy aroma. Medium body, a little fruit and caramel but otherwise completely dominated by an extreme and brutal bitterness. 130709

Tap at the brewpub. Clear amber with a little tan head. Warm malty aroma covered by floral, resin and citrus hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. Feels very soft and lush. Certainly more bitter than sweet, but the finish is a soft, non-harsh bitter. Yet the mouth feels nothing much except bitter. Very nice and hoppy indeed.

growler. thanks, riverside! Pours crystal clear medium amber with a dense tan head. Big piney, earthy nose. Big creamy body. Earthy, leafy mid-palate, almost garlicky, with big piney overtones. Long deeply earthy finish, kinda garlicky and peppery. Fun, rich DIPA.

Floral and citrus hops in the nose. Somewhat earthy. Light sweet malt. pours amber with a thin head and decent lace. Pine and citrus, some sweet caramel and bready malts. Big bitterness in the finish. Lots of pine and dank resins. Leafy. Some sweetness comes in as it warms. I liked this one.
