A pretty typical craft IPA, the likes of which have been repeated over and over lately. That said, there’s really nothing to complain about. In other words, it’s good. Typical hoppy-citrusy thing going on. A lockstep interpretation of a worn out theme that the masses apparently can’t get enough of.

Bottled. The body was dark gold and bronze with an off white head. The aroma was earthy grapefruit with some almonds. This was also a little bit woody. The taste was grapefruit and flowers with some nice bitterness. There was also a toasted walnut flavor. This was a good IPA, just a little boring.

On tap at SBC Brew Pub. Slight piney aroma. Nice complex piney, hoppy taste with some grapefruit. Little biter kick at the end. Solid IPA.

~Pours a light cloudy amber colour. Small white head. Some lacing. ~Malt and light citrus hops scent. ~Sweet hoppy taste with a hint of citrus. Bitter aftertaste. ~Not as bitter as your typical IPA. I would recommend Sac Brew’s Red Horse Ale over this one, but still a good beer. It is refreshing.

Bottle: Clear copper pour with a medium sized beige head. Aromatic with citrus and florals, some caramel and grapefruit. Taste is average at best. Hoppiness is moderate with some light malts. Somewhat soapy and bitter grassiness. A real dissapointment when compared to their amber ale sampled beforehand.

Bottle. Watery copper color with a small white head and a hoppy finish. Hops taste of citrus, possible simcoe?

Pours amber with a white head. Smells of citrus, grapefruit and pine maybe. It also smells a little soapy. Taste is hoppy and very sweet with a bitter metallic finish.

From BevMore in Sacramento at $7.49 a six pack. Poured a nice copper color with a nice white foamy white head. Nose was strongly of hops with floral and citurs aromas. Mouthfeel very smooth and flavors mostly malts and hops. Good bitter finish. A good IPA that was a pleasure to drink.
