On tap at the brew pub. Hops were not as bitter as in some IPA's. Nice citrus flavor that didn't come on too strong.

Looks very much like a classic IPA, slightly hazy, orange, slight white head. Aroma is of old cut grass or more than likely cascade. Flavor is similiar, no bitterness to speak of, well made grassy flavor. Body is a little watery. Balanced finish. Thanks Jazz88 for this one!

Great floral/hoppy, lightly citrus aroma. Bright orange gold, white head, generous lacing. Taste was strongly hopped, with a thinner malt sweetness in the background - could've used more body. My bottle just has an India Pale Ale label, but matches this description. Thanks Flipbrewer!

Bottle. It looks like they are finally shipping this beer to the Bay Area. Golden color with a foamy off-white head with rising bubbles. A strong grassy hop aroma. Sweet malts and strong hops flavors. I found this IPA quite interesting and enjoyable.

Bottle says Sacramento Brewing IPA.. Orange gold color. Large head. Aroma is citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are slightly sweet. Hops are very pronounced, grapefruity and somewhat bitter. Nice juicy hop flavor. Well balanced. A nice drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

Re-rated from the bottle, 4/10/2008 Poured with an enormous head over a cloudy earthen orange beer. The aroma is of citrus flowers. This has a detergent-like character in which the stark citrus acidity dominates without any other supporting characters. My original rookie rating numbers stand. Original rating at their brewpub: <<Soapy citrus aroma. Strong grapefruit tendencies with peaked bitterness. So-so.>>

Lackluster for an IPA. Hop flavor is very restrained, almost non-existant, and the malt doesn’t really do much. A dud.

Pow, right in the palate, great nose and hops.
