Red popsicle fruitiness interwoven with mild hoppiness and slight hop zing on the finish. Slightly watery mouthfeel. This is another nice west coast hoppy red. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2004 Dark copper brew raising a decent cream colored head. Fruity hop nose. Light bodied brew, watery with a mild hop bitterness. Not much going on here. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2004 Bottle pours deep amber, rather translucent, small off-white batter like head, with fairly good lacing and minor carbonation. A somewhat peaty/malty aroma on the nose. Minor hop flavor immediately up front, quickly giving way to a nice peaty flavor. Minor hop bitterness lingers throughout. FInish is somewhat quick, and a tad thin. This seems like quite a light American Strong Ale. Otherwise, not bad... Thanks goes out to Flipbrewer for the trade!
