Bottled. A hazy red beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruity and flowery. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops giving it notes of grapefruit and grass on a caramel malty backdrop, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr/Ungstrup. Pours a clear deep and warm amber with a small off-white head. Medium-bodied, roasted malt dominates plus a little nuts and burned caramel. The finish has a lightly perfumy hop note that leaves a light bitterness. 210309 and 130709

Bottle, 6.?%. Old fruit aroma. Cloudy dark red brown colour. The flavour is better than the aroma, vinous med some dried fruit. A little dust. Some coriander in the finish. Good, but I would have liked it fresher.

Bottle... Beautiful, clear, morphed mahogany/copper/ruby/burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Nutty, earthy aroma with notes of wood, black tea and straw. Thin, bland flavor. Slightly sweet up front and then, a couple seconds later, moderate bitterness provides decent balance. Almost medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. Crisp, mildly sweet, nutty finish. Thanks to IrishBoy for shipping this beer to me!

Bottle from Saarlander via Mystery Swap 2.0. Wow, this is the second beer today that I’ve rated that has a 69 average. Nice. The pour is hazy brownish ruby, like clay mud, as such, with aroma of caramel malt, toffee, big hops, and cabernet/port notes. Tastes caramel malty, with rauchy, cherry, cabernet, and finishing hop notes. Pretty hefty palate on this, and complex for this style. Thank you, sir, may I have another?
