Jul 30, 2008 22 oz. bottle - pours dark brown with medium body; tan head along the edges; all roast in the aromas with hints of coffee; very rich on the the nose and flavors; creamy, velvety body; so good and quite surprising; dry finish and a terrific RIS all around; not super strong, but great texture , lots of flavor and perfectly balanced; proves you don’t need to be 12%+ to be among the big boys

Jul 22, 2004 RBSG 2004: Dark brown with no real head. Burnt chocolate with a port quality, starts lightly sweet, ends a bit sweeter than that. Medium bodied.

Nov 25, 2003 I liked this one, Black, little head, but thats what an Imperial Stout should be. Aroma of chocolate and roasts. Some fig flavor in addition to the Chocolate and roasted tastes. Pretty sweet. Balance finish, overall a Stout I'd love to have again.
