| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2006 Bottle... Very dark crimson ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The malty, earthy aroma wafts notes of wood and milk chocolate up toward my nose. Medium sweet, vinous flavor with lots of tawny port. Bittered just enough to keep the brew from becoming cloying, but it’s still malty overall and true to style. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes sweet, but slightly tannic. Thanks, IrishBoy, for the trade! cbkschubert (2016), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 11, 2006 12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - What an ugly label. Pours a brown color with an average size light tan head. Has a funky, smokey, meaty, malt aroma. Man, the flavor is the same as the aroma. It’s like drinking liver. Medium body. I hope its just a bad bottle. Thanks Richard. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
