Mealy breakfast cereal afters (oats, wheat?). Wood and tiring almond as it warms. Cherryish alcohol aroma. ’Damn good necking juice’ according to GV, I’m not so convinced..

Apr 11, 2008 Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Gold with white head. Dry, bready, yeasty beer, but with a refreshing bitterness towards the end which pulls it up a few notches. Leaves with a pleasant hoppiness. It’s ok.
