Clear gold with white head, a very careful pour required. Mine was quite dry and citrusy, maybe a touch too sharp and tinny, but much more refined than it’s sister beer. Reasonable and tasty. Straw with a fast fading white head; moderate carbonation; slightly musty lemon aroma; creamy texture with some citrus and light caramel malts; well-balanced gentle bitter finish. A rather elegant and refined beer, and excellent value for money. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Light unclear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, wheat, moderate hoppy, citrus shell, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Bitternes is strange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (130508) KnutAlbert (3185), Oslo, Norway

This, their Golden Ale, has good colour and a white head. In other respects it’s not up to standard, with little aroma, taste or bitterness. Limp and watery, I’m afraid.
