Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (060608)

Bottle. Pours a dark brown, very small brown head. Probably one of the best Portugese brews I had (not saying any of them were all that good). Aroma of faint chocolate and caramel, fairly smooth but not at all complex. Ok.

Bottle (330ml). Courtesy of ImperialJohn. Deep ruby pour, large frothy beige head. Lush, oily-malty aroma, slightly earthy, very dry. The taste is somewhat disappointing, weak nutty malt, dry and metallic-herbal, slightly harsh finish. Thin, slick body, very malty but astringent bitterness in the finish knocks it down a tad - just okay.
