bitbucket (1471), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. Thanks, after4ever! Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Corn and paper aroma. Light body and medium carbonation. Sweet corn and paper taste with a little grass in there somewhere. This one stands out as the most papery beer I’ve tried. I’m guessing it has been stored for quite a while at above-cellar temps. Under better circumstances it might have been OK, or at least OK except for the corn.
Allen (489), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Jul 6, 2008 Bottled 355ml. It pours a beer with a nicely lasting white head. Slightly sour flavor. Biscuity. Not too much rice showing up. Malty. Drinkable. Rather boring. Slight bitterness. azlondon (461), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Clear, light golden. Little bit of white head.
Aroma: Some light fruit and rice aroma.
Taste: Not much. Hint of malt and hops, I guess.
Info: 355ml bottle, 25/6-2008 patrick767 (1377), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2008 bottle - Well... not many beers would say right on the label that they’re brewed with rice. Score one for honesty? This beer is a pretty typical fizzy yellow beer. It’s not completely stomache turning, there’s just very little there in this bland, thin brew. I think there’s a trace of hops in there. Don’t bother.
rugbydude05 (139), Kew Gardens, New York, USA May 31, 2008 12 oz bottle- Chinatown. Pours a golden color, aroma is like apple juice and kinda salty, Taste is kinda bland and palate is rough. Dont expect much from this beer but I would still prefer this over a Bud. zebracakes (959), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 27, 2008 Bottle at Xe Lua in Chinatown, NY (near the Village). Pours pale yellow, white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Flavor is the same and more hoppy than I expected. Not bad for a pale lager.
