Lasting off-white head, nice clear dark copper color. Harsh, vegetable-like, mild aroma. Just plain bad. Bread-malty, lame, weird flavor. Disapointing. I had this beer in 2004 and it was totally different. Hoppy, soft and full. Very nice. But this version sucks.

Bottled. Amber coloured, small off-white head. A lot of fruit and caramel malts in the aroma. Flavour is sweet caramel malts along with some bittering hops in finish. When it warms up it gets some metallic notes to it also. Not too exciting.

Clear amber colour with a small white head. Malty, caramel and alcohol sweet aroma and taste with a light fruity note.

Bottle as Saimaan Talvi Olut. Amber colour with a small white head. Caramel malty, corny aroma and taste. Medium body with a light dry finish.
