hughie (2254), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 15, 2008 Bright gold. Slightly ashy apple aroma with a hint of raisins. Sweet, rich sticky taste with a little dryness. What is the medium sweet version going to taste like?
shrubber85 (2584), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Jul 7, 2006 Bottle. Sour apple aroma. Light golden yellow color. Sour apple flavor - slight dryness only. Pretty much an average chain cider. haddonsman (1191), Derby, Derbyshire, England Mar 20, 2006 Bottled. A thick tasting cider, on the sweet side of medium dry, the Westons oak is there but rather unsubtle. Joeh (1892), Buckinghamshire, England Nov 22, 2005 A 500ml bottle from Sainsburys.. Typical cider appearance with fairly fierce carbonation. Syrupy apple juice, alcohol and wood aroma. The flavour is sweet (almost too sweet), thick and syrupy with a fair dose of the typical Westons oak barrel taste and readily apparently alcohol character. I would not call this medium, never mind dry - this is very much a sweet cider. Magic_dave6 (4000), London, Greater London, England Oct 8, 2005 Aroma is ripe apples with some spicey oaked notes. Taste is similar and full, though i found it a little warm as my bottle was warm so put ice in it to chill it a little, therefore weakening it slightly. Easily drinkable cider though dangerous due to the fact each bottle has 5 units in it and is only £1:59 each.
