Commercial Description:
A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Seemed slightly light in color to me, but, despite that there was a slight malty-orangeyness on the palate with a lingering finish that made pulled me in for another.

Thanks to kaggie97 for this one. Poured honey colored with a white head. Aroma is carmel malts with some floral and orange hops. Body is watery. Has a grain like flavor to it. Some hops are noticable in the finish.

12oz bottle from Kaggie97. Pours a bright orange color with a off white light foamy head. Head receedes leaving a light film. Light caramel and melon nose to it. FLavors of floral fresh hops, light grass, some light caramel and sugar sweetness. FInishes light on the palate with some sticky characteristics and a light bitterness.

12oz bottle via trade with kaggie97 - Thanks Kevin! Pours amber with a short offwhite head that laces some. Aroma of grapefruit and floral hops with just a touch of sweet caramel. Flavor is light caramel that is quickly overshadowed by grapefruit hops. Medium bodied with a nice crisp bitter finish. Smooth. Would make a nice session ale..

Bottle at Waterloo Records while listening to Darden Smith in store live. Sweet tunes, sweet beer. A creamy smooth honey tinged amber that could use some bittering. Womderful brew that left my lips all sticky.
