Commercial Description:
A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Bottle. First tastes-hops, straw, earth, and amber malts. AMber body with a great clean hop presence. One of the best Amber Ales that I have ever had. Period.

Pours amber with no head. Sweet malt aroma with caramel and ginger? Initial taste is sweet malt fading to spices. Still can’t tell if it is ginger? Dry finish with a little bitterness to it.

Poured from the bottle at Waterloo Icehouse in Austin, Tx. Pours a murky medium orange with little to no head. Aroma has some malty notes with soime caramel notes. Flavor is sweet and malty with a bit oif a citrusy hoppy backdrop. Mouthfeel is clean and even. A most drinkable amber ale.

Thanks to bu11zeye for the trade. This is a pretty good Amber Ale. Pours a dark honey color with a thin off-white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is fairly malty, with a little bread and caramel. Light and sweet mouthfeel, with earthy malt, and hops flavors. The finish is zesty and lightly bitter. Not a bad job on this one.

Bottle Pours a clear medium amber with a nice fluffy white head that maintains quite well. Lacing is hefty and chunky. Toasted grain and bready notes on the nose and a slight hop slant. Flavors are sweet and bready with little hops and a soft wheat bread aftertaste. Very plain and simple but not unpleasant. Soft carbonation. Not bad. Thanks again to Kaggie97 for this texas brewskie
