Commercial Description:
A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Nice balance of malt and hops. This ale seems to me more like a good American pale ale. It is quite a bit similar to Siera Nevada pale. Nice hop, floral aroma. Beer pour medium head that mostly dissiapates. There is some lacing. The flavor begins with good malt and finishes with a bit of hop bitterness. Very good for a Texas beer.

Good amber ale, not my favorite but a good one that I enjoy especially when I barbecue.

Pours a clear, medium-golden color. A foamy, off-white head settles to a wispy film with a thin edge. Random, sticky spots of lacing mark the glass. Aromas include toasted bread, cereal grains, light toffee, and spicy, floral hops. Flavors are similar, primarily showing toasty grain flavors, sweet biscuit, and moderately hoppy floral notes. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated, it is fairly easy to drink. Unimpressive in any particular category, this is a decent little amber ale that makes for a nice enough summertime beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with off-white head. Some hoppiness and malt in the nose. Taste is that same earthy taste of hops with malt very present. Mouthfeel is medium with carbonation and a light bitterness.

Draft. Pours a cloudy copper color. with a well retained light tan head. Smells of some light caramel malt, with some traces of hops as well. The flavor was bigger on the hops than the nose let on. Pretty crisp and fresh tasting, with a lightly bitter finish and some dark fruits appearing in the aftertaste. Overall decent amber, pretty solid flavor with nice body for an amber.
