The flavor was bready and caramel malt, metallic notes and some wet dog. Really, really fruity sweet with next to no hops to balance it out. Oily mouthfeel. Ugh, by far the worst of my Saint Arnold’s tastings to date. BrotherJoe (12), Iowa, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2008 Has a nice floral hop aroma with a very distinct hop flavor. Makes me think of an IPA rather than an Amber but still very good. bleeng (598), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

I’ve drank this since It came out when the brewery opened and now I’m just rating it. 12 oz bottle. Filtered and bright gold. No head with a mild hoppy nose. Nice mild hop profile with a strong malt profile similar to other St. A. beers. A bit sweet and a lighter body that possesses a session-style and drinkability to this beer. Well done. This was a standard bearer for a couple of years in H-town when it came out. Now it seems a bit tame but it’s refreshing to revisit this beer from time to time. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2008 The beer poured a light clear amber with an off white head. The nose was a light mix of caramel and fruit. The taste was watery and washed out, but I could pickup on some note of caramel and malt. I found the beer it be drinkable but not something I would write home about. specksnreds (55), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2008 This is a solid beer from SA. Love the slightly bitter finish and malt body. Lovely lacing. Could a little more time on the tongue, and I detected a metallic finish in two different tastings. Couldn’t call it flaw though. I’d get in again for sure. Pastor (509), Maine, USA

Bottle poured into my pint glass produced a quickly fading white head that turned to a light lace. The color lf the body was more of a copper than amber
The aromas of malts and a light citrus almost sour smell
Good biscuit flavor from the yeast slightly bitter from the hops. Crisp on the tongue and a light, clean mouthfeel to it
A good sessionable brew thanks again Deniz

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2008 Golden color beer with a frothy egg shell head that crackled as it receded. Caremel corn orange peel nose. Caramel sweetness, bready malts, lemon citrus with a clean lemon bitterness in the finish. Doesn’t feel like an amber ale, but an easy to drink ale nonetheless.
