Commercial Description:
A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale. It has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Amber Ale is best consumed at 50 - 55° Fahrenheit.

Bottled and hand-pumped cask pour from Ginger Man. Dark amber color with dense white head. Aroma has floral and fruit notes. Fairly easy to drink with a medium body. A good beer to relax with. While it is good out of a bottle, the cask pour brings a lot more character out in the beer (as one would expect).

12oz bottle. Dark amber brown color, clear. Caramel-forward nose of crystal malt, toffee, toast and nutty wood, with a similar flavor, focusing on the nutty, chewy, sticky malt, with a moderately frothy/thick body for an amber. Almost too chewy in fact. Still, a decent amber that doesn’t try to do anything exciting, and it tastes decent enough.

Draft sample at BJ’s BRewhouse, Orlando. Pours clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate sweet malty aroma. Medium body with little carbonation. Medium metalic sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of an average duration. My expectation where not met.
