The head was thin and off white and quickly dissipating. The nose brought things back into the brown ale realm...powdered cocoa, dust, nuts, and toffee. Some caramel too. Flavors upon a pretty thin palate showcase notes of nuts and toffee. Fizzy mouthfeel distracts a bit. Finish is lacking sophistication and is somewhat flimsy. These beers need more body...it must be hella hot in Texas. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA

The nose is toasty with some light roast and fruity hop notes. The flavor has an average malty caramelly body with some light nutty toast notes towards the tail. Decent brown ale with a chewy mouthfeel and lightly bready nose. ttutony (69), Texas, USA

Coaxing produces a one finger creamy eggshell white head. Nose is sweet and fruity, slightly caramelly, undertones of English yeast, some citrus. Flavor is malty and sweet, caramel, English feel, crisp, leafy hops. Palate is cr4isp with a light body. bhensonb (4336), Woodland, California, USA

It’s got the typical harsh caramel nose. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is light chocolate, medium roast caramel, and sume nuttiness. Finishes towards chocolate. More dry than sweet. Light, light nutty aroma and some watered down chocolate and malt aromas. Flavor is very light. Not enough body. I get some caramel malt but I also get a hearty dose of peanut shells. Lacks the true "punch" a good brown should. Flavor isn’t bad, its just a bit weak.
