A white lacing was where the head should have been. Aroma is sweet orange with some nuts. The aroma has similarities to a sweet smelling IPA with some nuts. Aroma also has some earthy tones most notably dirt. Flavor is earthy malts, some toasted bread, and dirt. A bit watery. Not very beefy so the flavor suffers because of it. Toasty, earthy malts are balanced with some generous hop flavors. Dry, bitter finish with some sharp, sour notes. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma of nuts, brown sugar, caramel and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is caramel, nuts, slight chocolate, roasted malts, and a little citrus hop on the finish. Palate is medium bodied yet somewhat watery like most browns. Very drinkable and good for the style.. albert007 (412), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada
