Commercial Description:
A beautiful, deep copper brown ale. It has a full, malty body with hints of chocolate, a touch of sweetness and a light hop flavor. A complex malt character is created by combining five different types of malts. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Brown Ale is best consumed at 45-50° Fahrenheit.

Thanks to kaggie97 for this one. Poured amber with a red glow in the light and no head. A white lacing was where the head should have been. Aroma is sweet orange with some nuts. The aroma has similarities to a sweet smelling IPA with some nuts. Aroma also has some earthy tones most notably dirt. Flavor is earthy malts, some toasted bread, and dirt. A bit watery. Not very beefy so the flavor suffers because of it.

Reddish-brown with a small head and light carbonation. Sweet, syrupy caramel malt aromas. Toasty, earthy malts are balanced with some generous hop flavors. Dry, bitter finish with some sharp, sour notes.

12oz bottle via trade with kaggie97 - Thanks Kevin! - Pours light brown with a short tan head that fades pretty quick. Aroma of nuts, brown sugar, caramel and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is caramel, nuts, slight chocolate, roasted malts, and a little citrus hop on the finish. Palate is medium bodied yet somewhat watery like most browns. Very drinkable and good for the style..

Bottle. Brown color small fizzy tan head. Aroma is a bit nutty, caramel hints and a minute touch of the skunk. Flavor is good, nutty with a mild resiny hop tint. Finishes well with the skink biting a bit.

Bottle courtesy of kaggie97. Pours transparent amber with minimal off white head. Aroma and flavor are standard sweet malt with slight roastiness, well done though. Some citrus hop presence in the finish. Very easy drink.
