Commercial Description:
A beautiful, deep copper brown ale. It has a full, malty body with hints of chocolate, a touch of sweetness and a light hop flavor. A complex malt character is created by combining five different types of malts. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain. Saint Arnold Brown Ale is best consumed at 45-50° Fahrenheit.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit as well as light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of fruit and toffee, leading to a dry bitter finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body with roasted malts, caramel and nuts with a vague, underlying tartness. The finish is dry. Quite drinkable. 080408

Hazy amber color. Flat beer, with poor aroma and some malt/caramel/sweetness taste. Drinkable but simple.
