Good stuff. Nice mix with the malt flavors and hops, doesn’t seem like either one takes the other over. Solid holiday brew.

Bottle from Santa. Pours a light amber color with a small off white head. Nose is bready with a light floral hop note mixed in. Palate is full and fluffy. Flavors of bready malts and light floral hop notes.

On tap. Poured a rich amber color with a two-finger tall, off-white head. Good lacing. Smelled hoppy, with pine and citrus pushing through the standard christmas spice. The flavor was a nice blend of fresh citrus hops and sweet malts with a touch of cinnamon that wasn’t overwhelming. Almost medium bodied. Really pretty good.

Tasted 11/30/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with an orange ruby hue. Finger width of cavernous off-white head. Heady aromas of sweet bready malts. Faint earthy spice. Medium bodied with a very sweet malt palate. Yep, definitely sweet! Big berry esters and citrus notes throughout. Nice sipper. Once the sweetness subsides, the hops start to shine. Definite dichotomy. And both really stand up. This really has a pleasant complexity. Bready malts and earthy hops. Good carbonation. Solid brew!

Pours dark reddish amber with a nice layer of head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, nuts, and spruce. Medium body, creamy, and full of malt with some warming alcohol. Nice warm up on a cold day. Overall it is a very well done strong ale, wish more breweries would make them.

Bottle from SAggieTits97: Pours a clear seared sienna, head but a halo. Nose of Christmas cookies, fresh pine tree, and caramel apple. Tastes of spices, caramel, and light pine. full almost syrupy yet wet feeling body..tastes pretty alcoholic and aggressive hopping probably more than adequate...alcohol is not hidden. at all. I don’t give a fuck what half these raters say...It’s almost peppery, like cheap spirits...a bit harsh, i must say. Just seems rigid and not something I could drink and relax with...which is the whole purpose of a Christmas ale, in my opinion.

On tap at the Gingerman Fort Worth. Aroma is grainy and has a buttery note. Flavor is caramel, spices, and malts. A little woody.
