May 10, 2009 Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of whisky - actually very sweet. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of whiskey as well as medium notes of wood, caramel, dried fruits, figs, prunes, apricot, and wood, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Jun 14, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark and hazy brown with a lacing tan head. Solid aged malt aroma with a light overripe fruit note and barrel accents. Smooth chocolate flavour, alcohol and dense malt flavour. Ends with a nice chocolate smoothness.

May 26, 2008 Bright chestnut. Agreeable nose with deep cherry, rich brown sugar, burnt blueberries. Sweet and soft, and a little bit sticky. Rich brown sugar again, creme brulee. Toasty finish. Excellent beer.
