Jan 22, 2008 Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aorma is sweet malty with medium notes of roasted malt, while the flavor is sweet with very strong notes of roasted malt, as well as medium notes of sweet soy sauce. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Jan 13, 2008 12 fl oz bottle, from trade with ygtbsm94. Pours dark brown to black with a dense light chocolate head. Smooth chocolate malty aroma. Flavour is very smooth chocolate malty. Solid chocolate bitterness yet very smooth as well. Ends with a nice mix of bitterness and chocolate lingering into the far finish.

Clear dark dark black color with a large, frothy - creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium full, texture is oliy - light creamy, carbonation is soft. (110408)

Mar 23, 2008 Flat and oily dark brown appearance. Chocolate and burnt plum aroma, with light molasses overtones. Chewy palate, rather burnt-tasting with molasses and dark fruits. Slightly sticky, slightly hot finish.
