Bottle ( 12oz ). Shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Hazy orange-amber with an average frothy tan head. Aroma is sweet and roasty, citrus, grain and alcohol. The taste is almost sweaty-pungent, musty bitter spice balancing the sweet caramel. Slick, slightly boozy mouthfeel, weakly carbonated; pungently spicy in the finish. nice, weird, but nice.

Clear light amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate smoke - plastic - rubber, moderate yeasty, leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Nov 25, 2009 12oz from suzygreenberg. Murky toffee brown with lacy off white head. Nose is candy corn, malty sweetness with a touch of apple and a hint of smoke. Creamy caramel with some apple but mostly smokey...digging it! Peaty and smooth...sweet and right now it is more of a barley wine. Nice stuff.
