Commercial Description:
A kolsch-style ale. When you need a beer after mowing the lawn, don't drink one of the mass produced beers, reach for this "fancy" lawnmower beer.

thx to kawa for this bottle, a golden hue with little or no white head, smells sweet and hoppy, a medium hoppy palate with a moderate amount of bitterness. more flavor than a BMC, but about the same amount of body. could be better if the flavor was a little more crisp and balanced.

Smells grassy which I guess is appropriate considering the name. Lacks flavor. Reminds me of a bland to the palate macro brew. Not offensive but not good either.

Poured a yellow golden color with little to no head. Has a bit of a malt aroma with a slight hint of lemon. Nice malt flavor with some grassy notes. Not much depth but it would be a great summertime brew for a hot day of yard work. Nice refreshing brew.

Thanks Kawa! Medium gold, slight head. Aroma faintly of grain, slight butter note. Good malt flavor, faint grass and hay hop note. Very nice palate. Pleasant.

Smells like a Kolsch. Pours clear to slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Definitely has a grassy, citrusy flavor; most likely from the hops for this style. Definitely not a Kolsch to stack up against the fine German examples, but not bad for a mainstream American replica. Would be nice and refreshing on a hot and muggy Houston summer day.

Sweet grainy malt aroma with some grassy hops. Slightly hazy golden blond with small white head that recedes to ring. Soft sweet malts with light fruitiness and a light balancing bitterness. Slightly puckering finish is followed by a peppery and toasted malt aftertaste. Light body is refreshing with moderate carbonation and a crisp, firm texture. That sure is something fancy! Bottle. Thanks, Kawa!

Clear gold body with a small white head. Smells like an oktoberfest... sweet graininess. Thin grassy body that is light, and stays light into the slightly grainy finish. There is nothing offensive about it, so that makes it ok.

Bottle. Got this one from Kaggie97, thanks again dude! Pours a murky light gold color, maybe yellow with a minimal head and lots of tiny bubbles flying around. Nose is not much to speak of, a little like old grass that you dig out of your lawnmower... or do I think that just because it’s called lawnmower?... Taste is odd, like stale popcorn or corn chips maybe with a zesty bubbly body that is watery, but would probably be good on a hot Houston day. I have never actually had a Kolsch beer, and so I’m not sure how close it is on the style, but the taste is different, not really bad, but sort of like buttery green beans and asparagus. Sort of refreshing, but nothing earth shattering, but probably a good lawnmowing brew!
