The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and grass - from the lawnmowing? The flavor is sweet grassy with light perfumy notes, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is a bit thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. beerbill (1977), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 19, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with stopbarking. So let me get this straight, they set out to make a lawn mower beer on purpose? Pours a hazy pale gold with a thin-moderate white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left very little lace. Virtually non-existent aroma save a few whiffs of grassy hops. The flavor isn’t much of an improvement with weak malt up front followed by some grassy hops. Thin, watery mouthfeel. If one of the big macros made this, we’d be killing it. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Bright yellow with no head. Grainy, corny, wheaty...like taking a big whiff out of the box of cheerios. Same grainy aromas carried over to the flavor, with an addition of hop spice. A flavorful swill, but too grainy. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Appearance: Everso slightly hazy, yellow body with a small, white head.
Smell: Soft pale malts in the nose. Noble hops smelling spicy and of dehydrated grasses. Faint fruitiness. And there’s a wheat note that gains in prominence as it warms.
Taste: Light pale maltiness with, perhaps, a slight hint of tangy wheat. Mildly sweet. Light touch of fruit. Spicy Noble hops provide a mild, balancing dose of bitterness. Finishes dry and reasonably crisp, with a lingering creamy wheat hint.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: It’s crisp, clean, and quite drinkable. Though I could personally do with just a small bump in hop bitterness, I ultimately found it to be a quality Kölsch. jzzbassman (852), New Albany, Mississippi, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Draft at Ginger Man Austin. Poured a clear pale gold color. The thin white head left some tattered lace behind on the glass. What more could you ask for than the subdued aroma of sweet corn? As expected, I guess. Light bodied with some delicate sweetness at the end. Tasted of light cereal grain and a bit of grass. Eminently non-offensive. MaltOMeal (668), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Draft served at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow with a nice white head. Not much of a smell to this. At least it doesnt stink. Taste is a little grass but more biscuit and earthy. Mouthfeel is medium. Not offensive, but not impressive. Mutualaid (139), Texas, USA

Pours yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. Big yeast aromas with a hint of malt sweetness. I can not detect any hop bouquet. Malt is a bit less sweet on the tongue; significant tannins. Hop bitterness is present but not that assertive. Long, less than pleasing finish. Medium body, somewhat slick.
A good "session" beer with the strengths such a beer requires but with few of the faults such beers so often possess. Overall, a beer that serves its purpose and by no means a bad brew. Good, but not at all great.
