deep amber almost ruby color with a thin cream head. malty, earthy and some spices on the nose. it really smells like fall if you ask me. nice on the palate with no real flavor until the finish with big malts and a spicy aftertaste.

Pours a light amber color, little to no foam. Not much odor. Not much taste either. Too weak.

Pours a nice amber/gold into the glass with minimal head. Aroma is sweet with a little bit of spice in the nose. Flavor is malty with a nice smooth quality. As I understand, this Oktoberfest is brewed with an ale yeast making it somewhat of a hybrid. Not mind blowing, but really nice.

Bottle from Market Street in Allen, TX. Pours a copper orange with nice off-white head, lacing. Has a nice slightly fruit/caramel aroma with spice. Flavor is very nice, some caramel, fruit, spice, and a nice small alcohol note. Palate is light-medium body, high carbonation....I really like this beer! Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Pours with a large, frothy, off-white head that leaves good lacing. Body is a clear amber orange. Aroma is malty, with some molasses notes and light oranges. Taste is malty and metallic. Slightly fizzy.

Somewhat hazy orange/amber color with a nice white head that retains well. Smell is lightly fruity with some breadiness and there seemed to be a little DMS present. Again, taste has some fruitiness and plenty of bread, but the DMS (or something similar?) detracts from the brew for me. Taste would be much higher if not for that. Above medium levels of carbonation and slightly heavier than medium bodied. Decent brew from what seems to be a pretty darn good brewer.

Light copper; little head. Light-coloured malts nose, bakery-nose, not yeasty. Very much roasted malt in the taste, nearly peanut-like, rich, but a bit one-sided. Well-bodied, little burning aftertaste. A remarkable interpretation of the style. I’m surprised by this.
