On tap at Mccormick&Schmick’s Dallas. Dark amber hue with a thick tan head. Spicy, malty smell with a light touch of perfumy hops. A medium-full body rests heavy on the tongue. Taste has loads of spices, sweet malt flavors of ginger bread cookies, cloves, with a very noticeable hop presence. Finishes mildly bitter and silky smooth. Tastes like a very malty Elissa IPA. It’s different from year to year, but this is usually a complex blend of sweet and spicy that tastes completely unlike any other oktoberfest

Amber colored beer with a thin, light beige head. The nose seemed to me like a mix of malt syrup and overcooked peas. Astringent grainy malts with an odd balance of caramel sweetness and what I swear was an almost lactic acidity. Not my favorite Marzen.

Bottled. Pours a caramel brown with medium head, lots of sweetness and some minor league bitterness.

Nice orangey-amber color with a big, bubbly, white head. Big aroma that is present immediately when pouring... malty spicy aroma. Great taste, very smooth caramel taste. Pretty complex, with a little spice and yeast character. Overall... a delicious brew. 12 oz. bottle.

Good Oktoberfest brew...complex but clean finish, not nearly as syrupy as the Sam Adams Oktoberfest.

Surprised by this one. Pours an orange color with a nice fresh poofy head. Smells sweet and nutty. Tastes like honey, hazaelnuts, caramel, and other goodness. Great oktoberfest.
