Bottle ( 12oz ). Shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Light amber with a small frothy off-white head. Pungent and oily aroma (Goldings?), definitely cereal grain, a hint of iron/mineral. The taste is simple and clean - cereal grain, light floral bitterness with just a little citrus zestiness and roast, light alcohol presence. Slightly watery mouthfeel, mildly carbonated, with a fairly quick balanced finish - decent enough, that mineral aroma is a bit odd ...

Bottle from TheOtherDave. Poured hazy dark copper color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet malt flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

Malty and delicious, this is a perfect beer for the fall. One of my favorite St. Arnold beers.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with blutt59. Pours a mostly clear orange gold with a thin-moderate tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left no lace. There is hardly any aroma to this beer. A few deep inhales reveals some very mild malt and that’s about it. Thankfully, this beer is more flavorful than the aroma suggests with malt, caramel and just a bit of brown sugar. Very mild bitterness at the finish. Not bad.

Thanks to Blutt59. Appearance: Slightly cloudy orange/cherry with a small off white head. Aroma: Pepper, toffee, alcohol, some nuttiness. Flavour: Nutty, caramel, a dash of apple and a nice amount of malt.

bottle, pours hazy amber with a medium off white head. Yeasty orange and nut aroma. Smooth creamy body of sweet orange juice and malt with a mild alcohol finish and a peppery spice in the end. Nice.

Sample at October 16, 2009 Beer Club Meeting. Amber color beneath a quickly receding head. Looks malty. Aroma of amber malt. Flavor is sweet ... the underside of my tongue is sweating. Almost has a smoky flavor to it. Dense... not bad.
