Smells sweet and nutty. Tastes like honey, hazaelnuts, caramel, and other goodness. Great oktoberfest. Fratto (727), Arlington, Texas, USA

Big aroma that is present immediately when pouring... malty spicy aroma. Great taste, very smooth caramel taste. Pretty complex, with a little spice and yeast character. Overall... a delicious brew.

I am especially impressed with this beer compared to most of the others in the St. Arnold collection. Hoppy/yeasty initial impression, deep aber brown hue, wonderful hints of hops and strength as the beer progresses. Still maybe not quite up there with the best of the German ones, but its pretty good.
