Commercial Description:
An authentic, German-style Bock, celebrating the coming of spring. This strong, deeply flavored lager has been aged to create a smooth, malty taste with a hint of sweetness. A light addition of German hops balances the malt flavor. Saint Arnold Spring Bock is best consumed at 40° Fahrenheit.

(Bottle) Pours a clear deep amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of florals, caramel, and skunkiness. Flavor of caramel malt, nuts, and mild hops.

Bottle sampled in June of 2006:Pours a clear copper amber with a thin ring of white head. Lightly sweet earthy caramel malty aroma has some noble hoppy bitterness. Starts sweet and caramely with some fruity German lager yeasty esters and a more bitter drier finish. A fairly authentic decent Maibock.

Amber color; the head is not persistent. Very simple bock, just with some malt taste and sweetness and light caramel.

Poured a clear orange-amber color with a small off-white head. The sweet malty aroma smelled like candy and sugar. Malty flavor had notes of apple jucie. Light to medium bodied.

Pours hazy amber with malt aroma which carries through in the taste. A bit malty for a spring bock. Rock the bock.
