Commercial Description:
An authentic, German-style Bock, celebrating the coming of spring. This strong, deeply flavored lager has been aged to create a smooth, malty taste with a hint of sweetness. A light addition of German hops balances the malt flavor. Saint Arnold Spring Bock is best consumed at 40° Fahrenheit.

Aroma was malty and had that certain smell that many micros have (a good thing). Flavor was malty sweet with a hint of yeast. Good beer.

Pours with no head, dark clear copper with little carbonation. Light lemon aroma. Taste is grainy, bitter. Slight sourness. Malts are lightly sweet, with a subdued roasted character that comes out in the finish. Hops are very laid back, bitter.

12oz bottle via trade with kaggie97 - thanks Kevin! - Pours amber with a fair white head that doesn’t stay long. Aroma of mostly caramel malts and yeast, and just a touch of pear. Flavor is malty as well with notes of caramel, nuts and a touch of pear. Palate was light and without much carbonation. Drinkable but not much to remember..

12oz: Amber red in color, clear, medium-sized head, white. Aroma of hops. Clean taste, hops, malt, bitter aftertaste. Not too much flavor but clean, almost like a lawnmower beer.

12oz from KAggie97. Pours a fizzy and bubbly brown color with a small white fizzy head. Lots of bubbles here. Nose is nuts and caramel, some lite esters of almost bananas maybe? Taste is very fizzy and has some burnt nuts, sugars and caramel malt.
