Commercial Description:
An authentic, German-style Bock, celebrating the coming of spring. This strong, deeply flavored lager has been aged to create a smooth, malty taste with a hint of sweetness. A light addition of German hops balances the malt flavor. Saint Arnold Spring Bock is best consumed at 40° Fahrenheit.

Bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy. Pours a clear medium amber with a dense 2 finger beige head that results in chunky lacing. The nose is malt and faint dark fruits. The taste is light cocoa, caramel, light fruit and some roasted nuts. Medium bodied – decent Bock. Thanks Eric!

Amber honey in color. Light roasted aroma. Sweet semi metallic flavor which follows with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. Pours kinda thick with low carbonation. Overall it’s not too bad but nothing out of the ordinary.

12oz bottle courtesy of mhewes, this is my second St. Arnold’s brew. Dark reddish color with a good sized head. The smell was kinda "beery" and average. I know that doesn’t make sense so I’ll say it smelled "lagerish". The flavor was nice and clean with a hint of fruitiness. This was a decent beer and easy to drink but I am just not able to appreciate lagers fully (yet). Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-08-2008 02:06:48

12 oz. bottle. Poured into my shaker. Pours a nice foamy head that dissipates quickly. Nose is sweet bread and fruitcake. Flavor is sweet on the tongue and finishes with sweet malts. Mouthfeel is medium, robust enough to put Shiner Bock to shame. Nice Bock Saint Arnold!
