Commercial Description:
An authentic, German-style Bock, celebrating the coming of spring. This strong, deeply flavored lager has been aged to create a smooth, malty taste with a hint of sweetness. A light addition of German hops balances the malt flavor. Saint Arnold Spring Bock is best consumed at 40° Fahrenheit.

Thanks to Al for the 12 oz bottle all the way from Houston. Glugs out an almost viscous copper-colored beer, bright and clear. Thick beige head with an orange tint. Nose of sweet oranges and malt candy. Quite sweet flavor with light bitterness and soft carbonation falling a bit too short to balance it out. Sticky, malty brew. Tasty in a simple way. Easy.

Thanks to ericandersnavy for this one. Pours copper with a decent off-white head. Aroma is quite malty. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is rather roasted malt with something herby/hoppy. Finishes on the sweet side. Maybe nutty. Good beer.

It’s light. A little too sweet. Nutty. Caramel. Chalk. Not too bad of a bock.

Got on Fire Sale at Flying Saucer Addison, so logging rating but will try again to be fair. May have been past its prime. Clear, pretty dark amber color. Tasted malty but thin, with an unpleasant aftertaste, like a bad saison. Light moutheel, felt very low alcohol, was easy to drink but not very tasty. If it tastes the same next try, won’t order again.
