BlackForestCO (489), Fort Collins and Black Forest, Colorado, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle thanks to lb4lb, once again, thanks Deniz. Poured a thin, pale yellow color with a thick white head that stuck around for a while and left some decent lacing as it diminished. Aroma of pilsener malt, wheat, light citrus, and some light grassy hops. Crispy, citric entry with some moderate wheat and a lightly spicy pilsener malt presence and a nice floral hoppy finish. Crisp and easy drinking, would definitely be good on a hot summer day. This is probably underrated due to style. Bockyhorsey (1951), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of zinister. Aromas of grain with some spicey notes present. Yellow body with white head. Average run of the mill pils with some spicey bitterness and some lemon zesty citrus blended together. Good beer for hot summer days or pizza beer. redgold07 (291), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pours a very clear yellow-gold color with a small white head. Aroma is skunky and of bitter hops. Flavor is the same with a little citrus and grass in there as well.
12 oz. bottle.
aubreya (657), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jul 13, 2008 The pour was exceptionally carbonated. The head was creamy and white. The aroma was sweet and bran-like. The flavor was sweet, grass, and waxy. The palate was smooth. The finish was lightly hoppy. emacgee (1010), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jul 13, 2008 Thanks to maltomeal for this one. Pours a beautifully carbonated pale yellow with a two finger creamy white head. The nose is sweet and malty, grassy, hay, . The flavor is a tad sweet, malty, grassy, no alcohol, very drinkable and refreshing. Easy on the mouth with a cleansing carbonation. Finishes very abrupt and has the slightest waxy low AA hop feel at the end.
