| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Bottle courtesy of theisti. Pours a slightly hazy straw/gold with a fluffy white head that diminishes fairly quickly. The nose is a dusty and slightly musty wheat with a faint citrus note in the background. Light-bodied and thin with a mildly wheat/grainy mouthfeel. The flavor is of lightly dry "wheaty" malt with subtle citric and cardboard notes. There’s nothing particularly exciting or offensive about this beer. It’s just a decent, quaffable wheat. I would imagine that this is a summer staple in a lot of Texans’ refrigerators. Thanks for the bottle, Tim. gringo332 (247), Richardson, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Straw yellow with a modest head. Not much in the aroma department, although I was looking for aromas associated with wheat ale. Lots of grain up front, with subtle flavors of banana and bitter hops. SA’s best session beer out of the bunch. ChainGangGuy (2619), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Appearance: Pours a hazy, golden body with an inch of fizzy, white head.
Smell: Soft, supple wheat aroma with support, though mild notes of spice and watered down lemon juice. Floral hops also bring a vague, distant hint of pine needles.
Taste: Malted wheat with a touch of graininess to it and a light overall sweetness. Floral hop character, though, as with the nose, there’s that far off touch of pine. Mild bitterness. The lemons finally make an appearance near the end. Even in the crisp, dry finish you still can’t shake that grain flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-high, somewhat spritzy carbonation.
Drinkability: A very bare bones, no thrills wheat ale, but it serves its purpose as a highly drinkable, simple brew with an appealingly low ABV percentage.
